At 16 months, Emma:
- is 22 pounds
- can point to her nose, ears and eyes
- has a little run going on
- can stand up by herself without using a table, couch, wall etc. to help her up.
- will tell you when she is ready for "night, night" by walking up the stairs to her bedroom with her lovies.
- loves reading books. will sit and read books by herself for hours.
- plays peak-a-boo with you
- loves the park. she can go down the slide all by herself.
- still obsessed with dancing. when you ask her to dance she starts to bounce up and down.
- makes the sound of a puppy, elephant and a kitty cat.
- has had a language explosion:
- hi
- bye, bye
- no
- what
- why
- milk (ilk)
- baby
- night, night (nigh, nigh)
- sit (it)
- up
- nose (nu nose)
- Cayden (aiden)
- follows two step commands - "go get your shoes", "lets go bye bye", "go get your milk", "sit down", "put on your socks", "give hugs".
- will finally walk on the sand at the park
- loves to color
- brushes her hair, her dolls hair or anyone else's if you ask
- eats constantly. she snacks all day long. her faves are - go-gurts, go-go's (applesauce) puffs, craisins, cherrios (all flavors), all berries, bananas, PB & J, cottage cheese, string cheese.
- helps pick up her bath toys. I sing a song at the end of bath time and she loves to sing a long and help pick up.
