we took a trip to visit the easter bunny at the bass pro shop...

the line was long (not surprised) the kids waited patiently and let me snap some photos

it was our turn to see the easter bunny. at first Emma was a little nervous

and by the time I left so they could snap a photo she was full on scared.

this photo is a definite keeper. we will look back and remember that day :)

afterwards I tried to snap a photo of the two of them without tears. this was the best i could do. oh well.

later that night we dyed some eggs...

Cayden could not wait. he had been asking all day when we were going to dye eggs.

this was Emma's first attempt and egg coloring. she just dumped the egg in.

and was so proud of herself :) 

after a few kisses and hugs goodnight the easter bunny came for Cayden and Emma...

on easter morning, the kiddos were so excited to see what the bunny had left them.

Emma went right for her yogurt melts...

she loved those the most. if you can't tell. 

we ate some breakfast, hunted easter eggs, played with our new toys and got dressed for the day. i made an attempt to get a photo of the two of them. epic fail.

then we were off to the aquarium. it was a fun easter for sure :) 

The kiddos woke up early Easter morning to find their baskets filled with goodies.

This year we decided to have a nice, relaxing Easter with the family. So, to the zoo we went.

Everyone had a great time! The day ended in a meet and greet with the Easter bunny. Cayden was so excited.
