Cayden had is first sleepover with a friend. He has spent the night with grandparents and cousins, but no one else other than family. He was so excited to have his best friend, Logan, spend the night with us! I made sure to have tons of fun activities planned for the kiddos.
We made green cupcakes in celebration of St. Patrick's Day!
They loved them! Can you tell by the frosting on their mouths?
Cayden only usually eats the frosting off of cupcakes anyway.
After a night of pizza, sweets and a Star Wars viewing they woke up to a Leprechaun treasure hunt.
This was the note they found on the bedroom door.
They had to read each clue and follow it to the next clue to find the treasure.
It was so much fun to watch their little faces light up every time they found a new clue.
Seven clues later they found the pot of gold in the front yard.
It was full of St. Patrick goodies and of course candy!
For breakfast I made homemade cinnamon rolls with frosting...it was a big hit!
Then the activities continued with the boys make edible brains, skin and eyeballs with Zombie lab.
If you ask me it was pretty disgusting. Not to mention it tasted like cherry Tylenol!
Emma kept herself entertained while the boys played. She was so good with all the craziness in the house. We were also watching two dogs that weekend. That's one of the dogs, Lily.
The sleepover was a success and I even was able to get a picture in of my little one.
