Today we celebrated Emma's baptism. After months and months of trying to find the perfect time to baptize Emma, for both sides of the family, we finally found a date that worked for everyone...June 30th. Of course we wanted our family to be there to celebrate this amazing day with us. We were so glad everyone could make it!

WARNING: photo overload :)

This was my baptismal dress. I was so glad my mom saved it so I could pass it down to my little girl. Now Emma gets to wear it.

The three of us before we headed over to the church.

Emma with her grandparents.

My beautiful family of four. This was right before the baptismal ceremony.

A photo with the Godparents (my sister and Paul's brother).

Emma with her Godparents. We could not have picked any two better people than them :)

Paul and his brother, Kenny. It was so great for him to be here for her baptism.

reading the sacraments of the holy faith.

Blessing Emma with the water...

funny thing is this girl loves water, but was screaming being flipped on her back.

She tried very hard to get out of my arms.

Happy girl again...she is too cute!

The blessing of the parents...

and the blessing of the Godparents.

The Deacon lighting the Easter candle.

Of course we needed a photo with the Deacon and Godparents.

A photo with the Valone/Conrardy family :)

Another Douglas family photo...

and one more with the entire clan :)

After the baptism everyone headed back to the house to celebrate. We had food, dessert, presents and music.

The food table...everyone loved it. We catered sandwiches and I made a past salad, macaroni and cheese and my mother in-law made her famous macaroni salad. It was delicious!

The rosary on the lamp was from my sweet Uncle Chuck and Aunt Susie. We wish they were there :(

In the foyer we had he baptism invitation framed and a printable of her baptism day.

A photo of Emma with her Godmother and Uncle Gino.

The entire reason why we all came together to celebrate this sweet angel...

she truly is a blessing to all of us. We love you so much Emma!

After all the running around I finally was able to get a picture with my little princess.

And one with daddy too :)

Sisters

The girls...I love this three girls more than anything :)

One more with Papa. At this point Emma was over tired and done with photos.

the "piece de resistance" - the dessert table. Everyone loved the pink chocolate dipped oreos, homemade strawberry ice cream sandwiches...
 the cake...

and of course the cupcakes! It was all so delicious.

Emma's baptism was amazing. Everything was perfect. We want to thank both of our families for coming together to celebrate this blessed day with us!!!

Love,

The Douglas Family
