Little girl, you are O-N-E. Where does the time go?

Brother and I woke you up on your "real" birthday. We had a balloon for you.

You were amazed by it :)

After your morning play time we headed down stairs where mommy made you a birthday sign...

and we sang "happy birthday" to you with daddy before he went to work and brother went to school.

It's a tradition that you get a birthday donut with a candle for breakfast.

You sure loved it! I don't think you will mind this tradition for the years to come.

Later that day, Aunt Brittany came over and brought you a present.

You were definitely into the wrapping more than the gift.

That is until you realized you could climb inside the bin.

The rest of the afternoon was your normal routine. For lunch we Mommy, Aunt Brittany and Grammy took you to the Cheesecake Factory. You sure love to eat! Unfortunately, mommy did not get a photo. I was too busy enjoying your company :) Later, that day we had an appointment for your first haircut!

Mostly, your bangs in the front needed to be cut. They were hanging down to your nose.

You weren't too sure of what was going on...

we finally had to give you anutie's phone so you would sit still.

It definitely amused you.

Breann mommy's hairstylist also trimmed the sides of your hair.

 Not too much of a change, but enough to keep those pesky bangs out of your eyes.

You were so good the entire time that you most definitely earned a special treat. Mommy and Daddy got you a Zoo play cube. When we pulled it out you were so interested to see what it was all about.

Once it was out of the box there was no stopping you. You. loved. it.

Daddy had to take the bottom part of the box off and you were a little upset that he took it away.

Then he gave it back...

 and all was right with the world.

It was off to bed for the birthday girl. But, before your bath and snuggles mommy just had to sneak in a photo of just us two.

Happy First Birthday sweet girl. You light up our lives and have added so much joy to this household. We all love you so very much!
