21 months

At 21 months, Emma:

• is a blabber mouth. she is constantly saying words as well as nonsense words. 
• has become more vocal when she does not like something. 
• cannot sit still for a diaper change to save my life. 
• takes two naps a day. thank goodness. 
• has the cutest pout when she did something wrong. will look down and start to cry and than immediately come over and give you a hug. she always seems to be sorry. 
• will swipe your iPhone or ipad before you can blink. she can unlock it, find the photos icon and her folder marked Emma and sit contently for hours (if we let her) playing with the games. it has definitely saved us in situations where we need ms. emma to be quiet. 
• is extremely attached to her lovey. she brings it everywhere. i am constantly washing it. 
• thinks she is as old as her brother. loves to play with the "big" kids and has become a bit bossy lately. 
• will sit and play contently by herself for hours.
• loves to be tickled. she will lift up her shirt and point to her belly to have to tickle it or her back. 
• is still an avid reader. i am so happy that both my kids love books. it is a special gift to give to others. the love of reading. 
• likes to brush her teeth and hair, multiple times a day.
• has a real run now instead of a little trot. its adorable :)
• loves starbucks coffee. thanks to her aunt and grammy.
• is a total diva. this girl is going to give us trouble when she is older.
• still is a picky eater. what happened to my baby who would eat zucchini, squash, green beens, beats etc.?
