11 months

At 11 months, Emma:

• weighs roughly around 20 lbs. and if I had to guess is 29 inches long. 
• is a little trouble maker. she gets into everything. loves door stoppers, cabinet doors, remote controls, phones, stairs and pretty much anything else she can get into that isn't for babies. she is so different from Cayden at this age. 
• is getting in her one-year-old molars. the past few weeks have been a sleeping nightmare. 
• says, "mama, dada, mama, dada" repeatedly. 
• gives hugs to her lovies, dolls, brother, mama, dada and pretty much anyone else that asks for one. she also pats your back as she gives you a hug...too cute!
• has started cruising furniture and tries to be a daredevil and do it with one hand while holding her bottle, toy or anything else that she can grasp. 
• discovered her cabinet filled with bowls, sippy cups, snacks etc. and has rearranged it multiple times. 
• waves bye-bye consistently now when someone is leaving or it's time for her to go to bed. 
• still loves to dance, but now has learned to get up on her knees and bounce up and down.
• loves watching Simba and will look for the cat if you ask her "where's the kitty?"
• has become a barrel-rolling alligator during diaper changes. 
• makes the elephant noise whenever she sees an elephant. 
• still loves to read books. Her favorites are the touch and feel farm books and the baby dinosaur book with Cayden's picture in it. she always points to brother. 
• almost always cries anytime she is in her car seat now. she is not a fan of being strapped in. 
• is testing gravity out by repeatedly dropping things on the floor. she does it on purpose that little scooch. 
• gives kisses. Well, more like attacks your face with her mouth completely open. 
• will clap incessantly for no apparent reason other than pure excitement. 
• rubs her head and ears when she is sleepy. 
• puts her arms up in the air when she wants to be picked up.
• signs "all done" when she is done eating her food. 
• loves to look at photos of herself. a little conceited I think :) 
• is such a snuggle bug.
